Flowers are an oh-so-important part of weddings, but they're also one of those costs that quietly blooms when you're not looking. So let's see what you're really paying for.
As of October 2026, a fresh bridal bouquet in Singapore costs about S$65 to S$470. Florists price wedding flowers per item, so the bouquet, each small flower and the car all show up as separate lines on your bill.
Every figure here comes from Singapore florists' own published price lists and online catalogues, which we checked item by item in October 2026.
A boutonniere (the small flower pinned to a lapel) costs S$18 to S$39.90 per piece. A wrist corsage, the little flower worn on the wrist, sits in the same price band.
And yes, the car gets dressed up too. Fresh flowers for the bridal car cost about S$240 to S$320 per car.
How florists package wedding flowers
Most florists sell the bridal bouquet as a single item from an online catalogue. The good news? Every one of them has a fresh bouquet at S$180 or less.
Shape makes a difference to the price. One florist sells several designs in two shapes, and the frontal version (styled to face one way) costs S$100 to S$130 less than the rounded one. Same flowers, different angle, more cash left for the honeymoon.
Some florists sell bundles instead. A bouquet with the groom's boutonniere starts at about S$250, and sets that add bridesmaid bouquets and corsages go up to S$690.
Just need something for your bridesmaids? Bought on its own rather than in a set, a bridesmaid bouquet costs S$29.90 to S$78.
Then there's the car, which is priced per car. In a Chinese wedding, it carries the groom to the gatecrash, then takes the two of you to the groom's home.
Fresh car sets usually pair a bonnet piece with flowers on the doors. Silk sets are sold to keep, so nothing goes back after the day, and you've got yourself a lovely keepsake.

The catch
Most of the extra fees come down to two things: timing and place.
Having a morning gatecrash? Your bouquet and the boutonnieres need to be at the bride's home before the groom arrives. That's why florists usually deliver personal flowers the day before, and one florist asks you to keep them in the fridge overnight in their water container. So clear a shelf, and maybe move the durians somewhere else.
Car flowers go on the evening before too. One decorator fits cars between 6 pm and 8.30 pm and charges S$10 to S$50 for any other hour.
Here's a sneaky one. Car flowers may not stay on a freshly polished car, so skip the wax and give it a plain wash before the fitting.
Delivery to Sentosa, Changi Airport or Marina Bay adds about S$10 to S$40. Some florists also charge more for a one-hour window.
Always read the tax line. Some florists print prices before GST, so a S$250 car set comes to S$272.50 at checkout.
Door flowers can be extra too. On some fresh car sets, the bonnet piece is the whole price and each door is billed on top.
Boutonnieres can carry a minimum, and one florist sells them only with a bouquet or in fives.
Online florists take the full amount at checkout, not a deposit. Cancellation terms differ a lot, and depending on the florist, a refund can be anything from nothing at all to S$90 for every S$100 paid.

Five questions to ask before you pay
- Is the price before or after GST?
- Are the door flowers included in the car set?
- Will the personal flowers arrive the day before or on the morning?
- What is the delivery fee to my postal code?
- How much is refunded on a cancellation made more than 48 hours ahead?
When to book
How early should you order? One florist asks for 2 to 4 weeks for wedding orders. Ready made bouquets and car sets are quicker and need 1 day to 1 week.
If your wedding falls near Valentine's Day, Mother's Day or Chinese New Year, book even earlier, as flowers are really popular those days.
A few florists warn that delivery slots fill up first around those dates, and one florist even announced timed price increases before Mother's Day.
How much does it cost to decorate a car for a wedding?
Silk car sets cost about S$68 to S$320 per car. Fitting on site can cost extra, and one decorator includes it in sets from about S$110.
Are preserved flowers cheaper than fresh?
Not always. A preserved or dried bridal bouquet costs S$88 to S$220, which is about the same as a fresh bouquet.
Is S$100 per table enough for table flowers?
It buys a small fresh vase arrangement at several florists. Fresh centrepieces cost about S$40 to S$340 per piece, and size matters, so a 60 cm wide piece costs more than a 35 cm one.

Your next step
Before you lock in your flower delivery time, line it up with your photographer's call time on the photographer rates table. Each row lists the extra fees in its catch column, so your bouquet arrives in time for its close-up, with no surprise charges.
