Sure, you could use your own car or borrow one from the family for the day. But will your everyday hatchback really do justice to the moment? A proper bridal car is a gleaming, spotless continental saloon with plenty of room for your gown in the back seat, and it's built to look stunning in every single photo.

So how much does it cost to roll up in style? As of October 2026, a chauffeured continental saloon for your wedding costs about S$290 to S$590 for a 3-hour or 4-hour block. Keep it for 8 hours, and you're looking at about S$390 to S$1,020.

Companies sell the car by the block of hours, with the driver included, so no need to rope in a cousin to play chauffeur.

Every figure here comes from Singapore wedding car companies' own published price lists, which we compared in October 2026.

How wedding car companies price the day

Blocks run from 3 to 10 hours, and flowers, extra hours and early starts usually cost more. A 10-hour block for a continental saloon costs about S$490 to S$1,280, and by continental saloon we mean a Mercedes C-Class or E-Class, a BMW 3 Series or an Audi A4.

What moves the price most is the class of car. A Mercedes S-Class or BMW 7 Series costs about S$860 to S$1,560 for 8 hours. Love a bit of old school charm? Vintage cars cost more again, with a classic Volkswagen Beetle, Kombi van or older Mercedes coming to about S$610 to S$1,690 for 8 hours.

And right at the top sit Bentley, Aston Martin and Rolls-Royce, at about S$890 to S$2,890 depending on the block. Fancy!

Some companies charge by the hour instead, with a 3 or 4-hour minimum. For a continental saloon, their 8-hour totals come to about S$760 to S$1,020, which is more than all but one 8-hour block for that class.

Happy to drive yourselves? Self-drive is a different product altogether. A continental convertible or saloon costs about S$240 to S$360 for one day, with no driver.

How many hours to book

A Chinese wedding morning has four car rides. First, the groom heads to the bride's home for the gatecrash, where his groomsmen battle through games at her door. Next, the two of you drive to his home for the tea ceremony, where you serve tea to his elders. The car then takes you back to her home for her family's tea ceremony, and finally on to the hotel.

To work out how long you need the car, count the hours from the driver's first pickup to the last drop-off, then round up to the next block. On the same saloon or vintage car, going from an 8-hour to a 10-hour block adds S$90 to S$390 for those two extra hours.

Want the car for the evening banquet too? That can push your day past 10 hours, which is the longest block any company sells. In that case, book a morning block instead. A few companies also sell a single one-way trip, which can whisk you off to the banquet in style.

The catch

Flowers are a separate cost. Companies that price them charge S$78 to about S$590, depending on the type, from rented faux flowers all the way to fresh ones.

Early starts can cost more, too. One company adds 30 per cent to the hourly rate before 7 am or after 10 pm, and a gatecrash pickup before 7 am falls right inside that window. A few companies also add S$20 to S$200 on a public holiday.

Then there are the road costs. Most companies leave ERP and parking out of the price, so every hotel car park and ERP gantry ends up on your bill. One company also prints ++ after its prices, which means service charge and GST get added on top, so always ask for the final figure with both included.

Planning to drive yourselves? Self-drive comes with its own fees, and a few companies add S$15 to S$110 for each pickup or return outside office hours.

Five questions to ask before paying a deposit

  • How many hours does the block cover?
  • What does each hour past the block cost?
  • Is there a surcharge for a start before 7 am?
  • Are ERP and car park charges included in the price?
  • Is decoration included, or what does it cost?

When to book

A few companies advise booking two to six months ahead, and you'll wait longest for an auspicious Saturday. On those dates, every couple in Singapore wants a car at the very same morning hour, so it pays to be quick off the mark.

That said, one company only opens bookings three months before the date, so ask each company when its booking window opens. As for deposits, they run from 20 to 50 per cent of the rental.

Does a wedding car rental come with a driver?

Wedding packages sold by the block or by the hour include a chauffeur, petrol and the waiting time inside the block. Self-drive rentals cost about S$240 to S$360 for a day, but you'll need to designate a driver.

Is car decoration included in the price?

Usually, no. Decorations such as flowers are a separate cost.

How many hours do I need the bridal car for?

A solemnisation on its own can fit a 3-hour or 4-hour block. A full Chinese morning with the gatecrash and both tea ceremonies usually takes a 6-hour block or longer.

Your next step

Your bridal car isn't just transport, it's one of the stars of your wedding album. To make sure every one of those moments gets captured, line up the car's hours with your photographer's on the photographer rates table. Each row lists the extra fees in its catch column, so you'll get all the shots without any nasty surprises on the bill.
