Think of a photobooth as the warm-up act for your wedding. Guests in Singapore love to arrive early, and there's often a long wait before the first march-in. A photobooth keeps everyone entertained while they wait, breaks the ice between two families who've only just met, and gets the party started before the first dish even lands.

Better still, every guest walks away with an instant print, so it doubles as a wedding favour they'll actually keep on the fridge. But how much do these things cost?

As of October 2026, a staffed instant print photobooth in Singapore costs S$400 to S$980 for a 2-hour package. Vendors price by blocks of hours, with unlimited prints inside those hours, and extra hours are billed separately at S$150 to S$250 each.

Every figure here comes from Singapore vendors' own published price lists, which we compared in October 2026.

How photobooth vendors package it

Most packages start from a minimum of two hours, but this varies from vendor to vendor. If you'd like the fun to last longer, a 3 hour booking costs S$600 to S$880, and a 4 hour booking costs about S$800 to S$1,090.

The type of booth matters even more than the hours, though. A 360 booth is a platform where a camera arm circles your guests to film a slow-motion clip. Starting packages for one run about S$700 to S$1,490, and a few vendors price 2 hours of a 360 booth at about S$800.

At the budget end, the price gap comes down to prints and staff. One vendor's budget package gives just a single print per shot, so your guests will have to fight over who gets to keep it. Then there's the self-service booth, which is left at the venue with no attendant and capped at 400 prints for 4 hours.

Your date can move the price too. One vendor adds a surcharge for public holidays and December, while another sets a 2-hour minimum on Fridays and weekends.

The catch

"Unlimited" isn't quite what it sounds like. At several vendors we know of, it means one print for each person in the shot, so a group of six gets six copies. Want another pose? Back of the queue you go.

Setup sits outside your hours, too. Teams arrive 45 minutes to 1.5 hours before the start, and one vendor only starts the clock once setup is done, so ask your banquet manager what time vendors can get into the ballroom before you book.

Watch the gap between the cocktail reception and dinner as well. A booth that runs while guests arrive, then stands idle through the first march-in, may still be billed for that idle hour.

Next, make sure you've got the space. A standard booth needs about 3 m by 3 m and a 13A socket within 5 metres, while a 360 booth needs about 4 m by 4 m. Fancy a custom backdrop? That's about S$200 to S$400, and design changes after the free rounds cost S$30 each.

Finally, the money. Deposits run from 50 per cent to the full amount upfront, and one vendor keeps the deposit on any cancellation and bills the full invoice within 5 working days of the event. One vendor also adds GST on top of its quoted price, so ask every vendor for the price with that included, and get it in writing.

Five questions to ask before you pay a deposit

  • What is the price for my exact hours, and what is each extra hour?
  • Does "unlimited" mean one print per person in each shot?
  • Is an attendant at the booth for the whole booking?
  • Does booth time start when setup ends, or at a fixed clock time?
  • Will an idle gap between the reception and dinner be charged?

When to book

Having a weekend wedding? Book your photobooth 2 to 3 months ahead. That's the window a few vendors give, and December always fills up first. If you want a custom backdrop, leave a little extra time, as vendors ask for 5 working days to 3 weeks to print one.

Questions couples ask

How many hours of photobooth do I need?

For most weddings, 3 hours is plenty to cover the reception and the first half of the banquet. Got a big crowd? One vendor suggests going for 4 hours or a second booth once you have more than 300 guests, so nobody spends the night stuck in the queue.

Are photobooth prints really unlimited?

Yes, on most staffed packages, prints are unlimited during the hours you book. Just read the small print, because that's where the limits hide. Budget packages give you one print per shot, and drop-off booths cap the total.

Should I get a photobooth or a roaming photographer?

A roaming photographer with a portable printer walks the tables, which suits a seated banquet where guests stay in their chairs. A 2-hour roaming package costs about S$680 to S$820.

Your next step

A photobooth and a photographer make the perfect team, but they do very different jobs. Your photographer captures the big moments, like the march-in and the tea ceremony, turning them into the polished album you'll treasure for decades.

The photobooth is all about your guests, with goofy props, silly poses and instant prints they can take home that night. You really do want both, so line up your booth's hours with your photographer's coverage on the photographer rates table. Each row lists the extra fees in its catch column, so nothing gets missed and nothing catches you by surprise.
